We are a small dog daycare specializing in companionship.
With a size limit of 30 lbs, we ensure each dog is provided with an exceptional level of care and attention.
As part of the LakeCity Works non-profit, Woofingtons creates employment and volunteer opportunities for individuals living with mental illness.
Our Approach
The team at Woofingtons of LakeCity are animal lovers who strive to provide a safe, and caring home for your pup. We value the wellbeing of our furry friends and pride ourselves in a quality over quantity approach, offering a low stress environment by holding a low dog-to-staff ratio and stringent assessment process, paying special attention to each dog’s individual needs.
We practice a positive, calm, approach and adhere to strict cleaning guidelines to ensure a healthy environment. Woofingtons of LakeCity not only builds relationships in our dog community but also provides therapeutic and skill-building opportunities through our participant volunteer program and supported employment roles within Woofingtons.

Daycare Services
PLEASE NOTE: At this time we are placing a 30lb limit on the dogs we serve to ensure that as we open our new daycare we can provide the best space and experience possible. We will reassess the fit for larger dogs in the coming months as we observe and support our small furry friends in the Woofingtons space.
All dogs must go through an assessment process to make sure our space is right for them, please fill out the form at the “Enroll Here” button to begin the assessment process.

Half day, single pass – $25
Full day, single pass – $35
Half day, ten session pass – $220

Grooming Services
At this time, Woofingtons offers grooming services to Woofingtons Daycare Customers exclusively.

We ask that you please book these services in advance with your daycare day.

Meet the Team
Our dedicated team brings a combination of over 40 years of experience.
Lora, Manager
As a graduate of MBC’s Veterinary Assistant Program, and animal lover with 20 years of experience in the animal care field, Lora brings with her a wealth of knowledge through her various roles including shelter care, clinical practice, pet boarding and large scale doggy daycare. She has a strong background in dog behaviour, basic training, grooming and loves the continued learning that comes with working in the field. Lora’s family shares their home with 2 Hairless Chinese Cresteds named Roxy and Fraggle as well as a Siamese cat, Simon.
Misty, Shift Lead
Misty started her career with animals almost ten years ago, caring for everything from birds to dogs. She became a certified groomer six years ago and has been in the field ever since. She can’t wait to meet the dogs of Woofingtons and provide an enriching and loving environment for them to thrive!
Hev, Support Worker
Hev moved from the UK to Canada in the Spring of 2024, excited to start a career working with dogs. With experience working in mental healthcare, Hev loved the mission of LakeCity and Woofingtons. Hev spends time looking after their own dog, a Samoyed called Kipper, by going on hikes and beach trips. Hev is really excited to get to know all of the Woofington pups!
