Supported Employees Program
LakeCity Employment Services Association is a non-profit agency that offers free services to help persons 19 years of age and older living with mental illness secure meaningful employment and a sustainable income.
For individuals not quite ready to connect to the job market LakeCity on-site program coordinators are available to support folks through a variety of on-site work activities. These opportunities could include participating in the making of fire starters, our wood-shop, production of survey stakes, retail store, janitorial services, canteen and restoring computers.
Programming for Participants
LakeCity’s Employment and Program Services staff will provide an on-site assessment to determine the best fit for the applicant. This may result in folks joining as LakeCity Participants who will then be invited to join in weekly programming such as coffee circle, movie club or art club.
