Our LakeCity woodworking shop creates a lot of sawdust! Our FireStarters team of supported employees transform the sawdust and woodchips from our woodworking venture into safe and efficient firestarters. By combining sawdust with paraffin wax and using basic kitchen tools, our team offers a convenient way to get fires burning quickly, while diverting 1200 lbs. of wood waste per year.

What makes this particular venture most exciting is that it primarily employs supported employees with support from one on-site employment program coordinator.

LakeCity stock survey stakes in sizes ranging from 18” to 36” and can facilitate delivery of pallet size orders upon request. Survey stakes are also customizable with paint and in length upon request.
